Description: An economical, unscreened mixture of sand, gravel, rocks, and silt excavated directly from a bank or pit. Composition and size vary greatly. Does not drain well or compact predictably without processing.
Used for: Filling large holes or deep areas, building up grade where structural fill isn't required, base layer for some rural roads/driveways (often requires capping).
